Co-sponsored by: IEEE Gujata section WIE Dear All,   As a part of Women’s Day Celebration on March 8, 2017 Women In Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, Ahmedabad University Students’ Branch of IEEE is organizing a marathon- "Run for equality: Together we can make a difference".   The day of event being Women’s Day, the participants will celebrate it in a unique and memorable way. We aim to raise awareness about health issues related to women. Also, the funds generated through registration fees from this event will be donated to AWAG (Ahmedabad women’s action group) for the betterment and overall development of the women in their organization.   Date: 8th March, Wednesday Time: 6:30 AM onwards Venue: School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University  Route for Marathon: SEAS,AU, GICT Building- Commerce Six Roads- Navrang Circle- Vijay Cross Roads- CEPT- SEAS, AU, GICT Building (Approx 2.5-3kms). Co-sponsored by: Cept university Hyperspectral sensors inherently acquire high dimensional optical data resulting from fine spectral sampling. In recent years, smaller, lighter, and more affordable hyperspectral sensors have been developed, allowing them to be utilized on a variety of platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones). As a result, hyperspectral data are now more often high dimensional not only spectrally, but also spatially and temporally. This seminar will provide a broad overview of techniques commonly employed for analysis of high dimensional data (such as linear transform-based approaches and data partitioning methods) as well as more specialized techniques designed for hyperspectral imagery (spectral band grouping, multi-classifier and decision fusion, and game theory approaches). The seminar will also include examples of applying such methods to hyperspectral imagery for precision agriculture applications, including vegetative species mapping and vegetative stress characterization. Practical details will also be provided regarding the field campaigns and UAV image collection for these studies. They may show case it by story writing, poetry, drawing, painting, craft, knitting, singing, reciting, even a recipe for healthy morning breakfast for working women or even it may be a fast and professional make-up for professional women, mobile apps that help working women or any thing that comes in the mind related to theme ( either in a group or individual). First two hours was  the preparation time ( if necessary, participants may come with semi-prepared items), followed by exhibition of items. followed by Pizza party.
