About the IEEE SPS Seasonal School The 2025 Cycle 2 IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Seasonal School on “Future Perspectives in Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing in Recent Advances” will be hosted at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, from 27th to 31st January 2026. Organized in collaboration with the IEEE Maharashtra Section, IEEE Gujarat Section, and their respective IEEE SPS Chapters, this premier academic event aims to bring together leading researchers, educators, and industry professionals to explore the next-generation trends in audio and acoustic signal processing. ImpactThon is an innovation-driven initiative designed to encourage students to ideate, collaborate, and develop impactful technology-based solutions for real-world challenges. This event is organized under the leadership of the M.M. Patel Students Research Project Cell (MMPSRPC), in collaboration with: - IEEE Student Branch, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya - Associated Institutional Departments and Innovation Bodies Impactthon offers a platform for students to explore design thinking, interdisciplinary teamwork, problem solving, and prototype development — bridging academic learning with industry-oriented innovation. Stage 3 — Screening Round – Submitted ideas are reviewed by evaluators. Stage 4 — Shortlisted Teams Announcement – Selected teams are announced. Stage 5 — Development Phase – Teams start building their prototype. Stage 6 30th Jan 2026 Semi Final – Evaluation and shortlisting.
