Remote Sensing and GIS technology have become indispensable for decision making process in almost every application.Remote sensing observations provides data on any planetary/solar system body in a spatial format.Geographical information system refers to any scientific effort which integrates data to visualize, analyze and explore the geographically referenced information.
The workshop would provide a brief background on the fundamentals of RS and GIS, along with its application in various domains through case studies
