Decoding sustainability through maps

‘Decoding sustainability through maps’ is a pictorial representation for understanding and analyzing spatial information of sustainability related to various aspects of environment, society, and economy, through maps. The competition involves using geographic information systems (GIS) and cartography (science of making maps) to disseminate awareness of the global issues addressed by the SDGs. The participants need to select any one of the following SDG Goals and prepare an A2 size landscape poster. Participants can work in a group of maximum 3 candidates. J Agenda: Judging criteria will be depend on – 1.Creativity & Originality 2. Relevance to the theme 3.Effective mapping 4. Clarity of message & presentation skills Time of the competition: 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM followed by lunch Venue: Faculty of Technology, CEPT University Fees: 300 INR per participant Who can participate? Undergraduate students from any discipline. How to participate? Register for the competition by 25th January, 2024 and submit your poster online along with it.
