The IEEE Gujarat Section is proud to announce that it has been selected by the IEEE Region 10 Conference Committee as one of the hosts for the 2026 IEEE Region 10 Conference Quality Workshop (CQW). This recognition reflects the Section’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in IEEE conference organization and strengthening the capabilities of conference volunteers across the region.

The IEEE Region 10 Conference Committee launched the call for proposals in April 2026, inviting Sections, Subsections, and Councils across Region 10 to host Conference Quality Workshops. The initiative aims to:

  • Share best practices and experiences in conference organization.
  • Train volunteers on IEEE conference rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Raise awareness of publication ethics, plagiarism, and research integrity.
  • Enhance the quality and successful execution of IEEE conferences.

A total of 14 proposals were received from across Region 10. Following a rigorous evaluation based on merit, anticipated impact, and compliance with IEEE policies, six organizational units were selected to host the workshops:

  • Ananthapuramu Subsection
  • IEEE Gujarat Section
  • Karachi Section
  • North Karnataka Subsection
  • Sri Lanka Section
  • Vietnam Section
