The IEEE Gujarat Section Executive Committee successfully conducted its Industrial Meeting at Sahajanand Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (STPLGlobal), Surat, bringing together leaders from IEEE, academia, and industry to strengthen collaboration for innovation, research, professional development, and technological advancement.

The meeting was led by Prof. (Dr.) Chirag N. Paunwala N., Chairman, IEEE Gujarat Section, and Director – Membership Development, IEEE Signal Processing Society, who presented the Section’s strategic vision for building stronger industry-academia partnerships and expanding opportunities for students, researchers, and professionals. He also shared the roadmap for IEEE GSCon 2027, the flagship international conference planned at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, which aims to position Gujarat as a global destination for research, innovation, and technology exchange.

Mr. Rahul Gaywala, CEO, Sahajanand Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (STPLGlobal), shared an inspiring vision on how industry and IEEE can collectively bridge the gap between academia and real-world industrial requirements. He emphasized the importance of innovation-driven collaboration, skill development, and creating a future-ready engineering ecosystem that empowers the next generation of technology leaders.

An insightful presentation by Mr. Trinayan Jyoti Saikia, General Manager – Human Resources, STPL, showcased STPL’s remarkable journey as a Gujarat-based company delivering world-class solutions in additive manufacturing and advanced engineering technologies to global markets.
