One Day Seminar on Machine Intelligence in Image Processing
Date: 17th February, 2018
Venue: DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Objective:

Recent advancements in machine intelligence have benefited image analysis, understanding and computer vision immensely. As a result, the range of applications has emerged starting from the document and medical image analysis, surveillance and security, geographical information processing, driverless cars, etc. Image processing combined with machine intelligence has huge potential and will have a great social and industrial implications in times to come. The current seminar aims to orient young students and researchers from academia as well as industry to this exciting and fast-changing field of machine intelligence applied to image processing and understanding. It features talks by leading researchers in the field that highlights the application of machine intelligence in image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision that spans over the sub-fields of the document and medical image analysis, face recognition, and so on.
