Student branches are crucial to the growth and development of IEEE Student members. Student branches create a local network of students and give students the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field. Student branches offer numerous educational, technical, and professional advantages to IEEE Student members through the special projects, activities, meetings, tours, and field trips. However, these activities and advantages aren’t done without the effort, labor, and diligence of volunteers. IEEE has created several Student Branch Awards to recognize and reward the efforts of these tireless individuals and teams.
All award nominations should be submitted via My Review Room. Please be sure to submit all nominations by 1 February annually in order for your nomination to be considered.
The IEEE Student Enterprise Award provides financial help to Student members who are looking to implement an idea for a project. It enables IEEE Student members to work with others on an engineering project, while simultaneously strengthening Student Branch programs. Topics may be of a technical or non-technical nature from research on cutting-edge technology, humanitarian, and community-service programs.
