- 2018 IEEE Gujarat Section Sensors Council Chapter won the IEEE Sensors Council Outstanding Chapter Award 2018
- IEEE Gujarat Section will partially sponsor three student members of the section whose papers are selected in IEEE SENSORS 2018
- WIE, IEEE Gujarat Section earns accolade and funding support from R10 WIE VEED
- Prof Foram Rajdev participated in IEEE Region 10 SYWL Congress 2018 held from 29th August to 2 nd September,2018 at Bali, Indonesia as a representative of IEEE Gujarat section from Marwadi University.IEEE had organized a “Multicultural Video Contest” at the Multicultural night of the congress. Participants had to submit a video about their country/section, representing it’s people, culture, food, dance, natural beauty, cities, etc. anything they think people should know about their country/section. People around the region 10 (Asia countries) had submitted their videos for their section or country, Prof Foram Rajdev, faculty of Mathematics, had submitted video with the title “My Incredible India” for this video contest at R10 congress and won the 1st Prize for Gujarat Section. This prize was announced on Award night at the congress.
